Ann Webber

Ann is our Business Systems Manager. Ann has experience within the retail and hospitality industries with direct emphasis on customer care and food hygiene. Ann also has experience of the manufacturing industries focusing on product quality assurance. She also has extensive experience in book keeping and financial control of small businesses.

Previous appointments include a directorship within a Health and Safety Consultancy.

Ann is responsible for the full implementation of business systems, is the Finance Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day company administration.

Chris Webber

Chris has over 30 years’ experience within the construction, railway, asbestos and associated industries. During this period, Chris has a built a thorough knowledge of all aspects of building construction and services.

Chris has assisted a client to achieve the RoSPA Gold award for the past five consecutive years, which has resulted in the gold medal in recognition of health and safety excellence.

Chris began his career with British Rail as an Apprentice Fitter, before progressing to Principal Technical Officer within the Civil Engineering, (Stratford) and later the Building Manager’s Department, (West Anglia Region). During his time on the railway, he studied and achieved the HNC in Building studies, gaining valuable experience of building construction and refurbishment of both rail and trackside health and safety.

During this period within the railway industry he managed various construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.

Chris has used this firsthand experience to develop a commonsense approach to construction health and safety ensuring that works are undertaken safely, in accordance with statutory requirements and in a cost effective manner.

Upon leaving the rail industry, Chris began his professional health and safety career with a building and maintenance company as a Health and Safety Manager. He spent five years with this company, rising to the position of Operations and Health and Safety Director.

Chris then joined Amey Plc, again broadening his health and safety role. His role within Amey Plc involved an increasing emphasis on environmental impacts and matters. Chris then joined Amey Plc, as a Health and Safety Manager within the Environmental Management Services Division. This role involved working with other professionals in the areas of nuclear, asbestos and disaster recovery disciplines. His role within Amey Plc involved an increasing emphasis on environmental aspects and impacts.

After two years with Amey Plc, following a management buyout, Chris moved with the management team to Environmental Management Solutions Services (EMS). Chris spent seven years at EMS, where his asbestos specialism evolved. He has since provided training and presentations in asbestos to various institutions.
